What is the Ladner Trap? Some 50 years ago, a commercial crab fisherman in Ladner started making crab traps for himself and his crab boat. News got out how well his traps fished and he soon found himself making the traps for other local fisherman.

As time progressed, the traps evolved and became very successful. The news of these traps being made by a fisherman in Ladner lead them to become known as the Ladner Trap. After being involved with the original owner in the Ladner Trap business for 10 years, the new owners took over the business in 1984 and decided to expand to other trap types beside crab.

As Sealtek Fabrications Ltd ( Ladner Traps ) we have grown, but continue to hold on to the very basic principal’s of building a high quality product, that will provide our customers with the best possible opportunity to maximize their fishing effort.
