Sport Crab Traps

Our 30” Rigid Crab Trap is modeled after our commercial trap with no corners cut. Only the size and weight are different so that they are more manageable for the individual user with no need of any winch or pot puller to get them up to the surface. All stainless construction, with no mild steel to cause rust stains on your deck.

Our Collapsible Crab Trap has been totally redesigned to more resemble our rigid 30” stainless steel crab trap. When it’s fully assembled, it is the same size as our 30” crab trap with the same tunnel entrances as what we use on our commercial traps. When emptying the trap the frame remains rigid and the crabs will fall out the bottom of the trap when the drawstring is released. When collapsed, the trap has a 30” diameter footprint but is only 1” tall and it reassembles in seconds.

Sport Traps for Prawns and Shrimp

Our 30″ Rigid Prawn Trap is designed as the commercial trap but lighter for easier hauling. All Stainless construction, no rust or corrosion, 12” tall. Smaller mesh web with 3 tunnels. Rigid frame traps are tapered in shape and stack inside each other for better storage.

Our Collapsible Prawn Trap has been totally redesigned to be virtually the same size and shape as our rigid 30” prawn trap. It collapses to a 30” diameter footprint with only 1” of height and it reassembles in seconds. The new design allows the trap to have the traditional 3 tunnel entrances and a drawstring bottom to service the trap when in use.
